My blog has been pretty quiet lately so I thought I would put up a fail for a change. I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it would be interesting to try for Easter. I have the Jello mold that makes the 3D eggs. Not sure if its available anymore but its really fun to play with and I have the jello jellybean mold also. You're supposed to make the eggs and cut them in half and scoop them out to look like devilled eggs. I found that once I scooped a bit of the middle out the eggs were really fragile and kind of fell apart. So that's my Pinterest fail for this month.
Otherwise, they looked pretty cute and tasted fine.

Lucky Lindor
Recently Lindor was featured on Kingsdale Animal Hospital's Facebook page celebrating her recovery from a near fatal illness last March. I credit Lindor's diagnosis and recovery with the tremendous staff at Kingsdale including the wonderful Dr. Brad Hinsberger who came in on his day off to perform the emergency surgery.
Here's what they had to say...
This month marks the one-year anniversary of Lindor's emergency spleenectomy.
Lindor, who was 7 years old at the time, had been feeling unwell and had a decreased appetite, which is terribly unusual for a Labrador Retriever. X-rays revealed that she had an enlarged spleen that had ruptured and was bleeding into her abdomen.
In order to save her life, Lindor's spleen had to be removed. Within days of this procedure, Lindor was back to her normal self. Her spleen was sent to the laboratory to identify the cause of its enlargement. It was determined that Lindor had a type of cancer, B cell Lymphoma, that fortunately was caught early and had not spread beyond her spleen. Lindor continues to do well.
Congratulations Lindor! You are a wonderful patient. Your family (including your Kingsdale Family) loves you so much!
Footnote: Lindor is currently in training to obtain her final leg for her Intermediate title in CKC Rally Obedience.

Butterscotch Confetti
These squares are like eating little pillows of buttery perfection. So quick to throw together and they freeze well also (if they make it that far).
Butterscotch Confetti
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup Butterscotch chips
2 cups (approx) of white or coloured mini marshmallows
Melt butter and peanut butter over low heat. Stir in chips until melted. Cool a bit and add marshmallows. Pack down in 8x8 pan lined with wax paper. Chill and cut.
Doesn't get any easier then that. Could add some peanuts for a twist.

March Challenge
I'm back again with last month's challenge cards with Keri. We are still using our own products. Maybe we'll go back to borrowing after Scrapfest this weekend. LOL.
Keri used a unique combination of washi tape and tiny jewels that she glued on one at a time. Patience!
And I used the Lawn Fawn Gumball Machine. I think its called Something Sweet and made a simple card from it....
On the inside, the sentiment reads ... on your birthday! You can't really tell but the bottom gumball is glossy and there is some Wink of Stella on the metal parts of the gumball machine. Cute!

Wedding Card
I've seen this card kicking around Pinterest for quite some time and I always wanted to make it up. Well that day has arrived! I put together several of these cards and although getting the dimensions for the first one was a little tricky, after I got it figured out they went together smoothly. I just used my computer to do the tiny Mr and Mrs. I also used a couple of embossing folders. This is a larger size card. I believe its 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
