Everything went well from the bake sale to the cake auction to the endless drawing of raffle prizes.
Sounds like everyone was well fed and enjoyed their day. Our guest speaker really offered some insight into what it is like living with a child with Autism and it was great seeing one of Lindor's puppies in training, Eden.
Thanks to all the awesome people who helped out especially my sister in law, Lisa, fellow NSD volunteer and puppy raiser, Jen, my official photographer, Lori, my personal organizer, Anne Marie, the hard working and talented Noel, my young helpers; Sissy and Hootie and everyone else who donated prizes, hauled tables around and made delicious baked goods. You guys ROCK! It was a ton of hardwork but so worthwhile. Stay tuned for the final tally.

Baking
Tonight, it's all about the food, Mandarin Orange Cake, Rainbow bit, Lemon Poppyseed, Strawberry cupcakes, Nainamo Bars and Butter tarts. Making everything last minute so it will all be fresh for Crop.
Lindor is keeping me company in the kitchen and the temperature is starting to drop with a fresh breeze blowing. Cousin J is coming over to help out. It will be a good and productive night.

Organizing the raffle prizes
Only a few more days until the big event. It's going to take a few vanloads to get everything over to the hall.
There have been so many great contributions from so many people. We're looking forward to having a Service dog recipient speak of the impact that getting a dog for their child had on their family and meeting at least one of Lindor's pups and of course, the guest of honour, Lindor, herself.
Bring your appetites, you will be well fed at this Event and there just may be a few butter tarts to go around.

2 More weeks
The posters are made, the donations are pouring in, the fans are ready! "DOGFEST" as it is affectionately known in the inner circle, is less then 2 weeks away. It's going to be a wonderful day with lots to eat and a fun group of people to hang out with.
Still lots of details to take care of so I'd best sign off and get to work.

Three weeks to go
Just made the most delicious squares for the Crop. I'm going to rename them Lindor's ULTIMATE peanut butter squares because they just might be the most delicious squares EVER! If I knew how to post a pic, I would, but you'll just have to wait until Crop day to see (and taste) these beauties in person.

Welcome to my blog
I've decided that it's time for Lindor to have her own blog. The preparations for her second Annual fundraising scrapbooking event are well underway and we are looking forward to an awesome day.
