My Favourite Holiday Colours

Yay! I was finally able to find the time to work with another fresh set of new stamps and colour up Lulu in my favourite holiday colours....traditional red and green. And I used my new favourite Doodlebug Christmas line once again. I loved paper piecing her little plaid dress. This card shows off my scrapbooking/cardmaking style. No frou-frou for me.

Hogs and Kisses

It's been brought to my attention,that I haven't been blogging as much lately. I have the usual excuses; work, dogs, family,entertaining, commitments, top-secret assignments plus has anybody noticed that it's practically dark when you get home from work? My little point and shoot camera doesn't work so well after dusk and then one has to actually sit down and do the post.

Anyhoo, I managed to get a card done. I've been neglecting my challenges and I was so happy to use a Sassy Cheryl rubber stamp. I think its from the set; Down on the Farm. It's so adorable and it tied in nicely with a fall theme.

Lulu and Libby

You know when you're in a hurry to get things done something always seems to hold you up. I stamped this image three times and almost had it coloured twice when one of my Copics blobbed! I always open them away from the image but this one must be overinked because as soon as I touched it to paper, it came gushing out. I persevered and finally got my adorable Lulu and Libby rubber stamp coloured and a card made up for Sassy Cheryl's Vintage Cream and whites challenge.

Show Me Thursday

Sassy Cheryl has been extending her Show Me Thursday Challenge to two weeks and therefore we can show off what we have been up to a couple times. I don't know what's with all the attention to Christmas in July, I guess it means that we're halfway there, but it got me thinking about working on a couple cards. I love the look of Kraft cardstock with everything. I started with a basecard and envelope in Kraft and went from there. Love my Poinsettia die!

I also was able to use my Cricut again, I believe I used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the snowflake.  The temperature has dropped about 10 degrees Celsius overnight so maybe Christmas is closer then I think.
