Puppy Class

Usually once a week, I get my fix of puppies when I attend Puppy Class for Autism Dog Services. It never gets tired when the new babies come in.

Robbie is so sweet and super chill.

Spark is exhausted after a mentally challenging class.

Marshall is a Superstar. Am I partial to chocolates?

Practising for the Public Access Test that they will all have to pass in order to be a Certified Service Dog. That hamburger looks tempting. Luna did a great job resisting temptation.

Poppy (cinnamon colour) is our only full Poodle. She's got lots of spunk, it will be interesting to watch her mature.

These pups are only 9 months old and doing so well!

It's a really good gig. I love talking dog and hanging out with some great Volunteers!

Lindor Gets her CKC Title

We recently participated in a Dog Show down in Vanessa. This was a new venue to both myself and Lindor. We had two trials and after a stressful start (had to change collars just before we started our test), Lindor did amazing. Working the best I've ever seen her work. Excellent heel position and attentiveness.

 The Judge was super picky but we were still able to get great scores and earn our SECOND CKC title in Rally Obedience Intermediate. Super happy with how Lindor did. Not sure if we will continue to the next level or not. After all my girl is turning 9 and she doesn't have the spunk she once did but as long as she enjoys getting out, I think we will keep going.

Jersey

Look familiar? This is Jersey, one of the 3 sponsored pups from the Loonies for Lindor charity scrapping event. And she just happens to be Lindor's grandpuppy from her daughter Eden.

The eyes are different but she still looks like my girl. Jersey is in Advanced training to become a service dog. The fundraiser also sponsored brothers Jovi and Java. Hopefully they will make a family very happy one day soon.

Graduation

The first of Lindor's puppies are completing Advanced training and are starting to be placed with their families as full service dogs. They are two years old tomorrow. Of course, I had to make up a small parcel to send out with them, some pictures of Mom, some Lindor chocolates, of course, and a treat or two for the puppies.

Eli and Ember have been placed with their forever families, Elvis and Charlie need a little more fine tuning before they begin their careers or are career changed to Post Traumatic Stress dogs or Companion animals for Special Needs children and adults.

Here's Eli, I called him Big Red as he was the largest of the E litter and a sweet, gentle pup.

From our first fund-raising crop, we made enough money to sponsor TWO puppies, Epcot from Lindor's E litter and Chester from Equoia's C litter. Kathryn donated her birthday money in lieu of gifts so she was able to name and sponsor a puppy. She came with me to Graduation so she could see for herself what a difference her thoughtfulness has played in the life of a deserving family.
