Now that the pups are weaned off Mom, it's important that they see lots of different people and get handled frequently. My friend C and her fearless daughter bravely answered the call to come and have a puppy playtime.
What is it about shoelaces and strings that puppies find so irresistible?
I fear that the pups have inherited Lindor's love of licking when she's happy. I quite often call her Lick-dor.
Corrina and I have a lot of fun with our little challenges and goal setting. We started a plan in January, we called Twelve in 12 and one of our mutual goals was to create, or in my case, learn how to do 6 things on my Blog. I have accomplished this goal but there is still room for improvement. If you want to check out her blog go to www.anotherthingoffthelist.blogspot.com (I hope this link works because its one of the Blog things I HAVEN'T learned yet. Lol)

Food Melee
Now that the pups are feeling better, they have VERY healthy appetites. I try to put the food in 2 bowls but if I don't, this is what happens.
It's pretty hard to eat when someone is standing on your head!~
They are eating dry kibble now so it's good to have them outside, if you know what I mean. Lots of clean-up.

7 weeks old
Look at those adorable faces!!! I apologize to everyone who didn't get over to see them in person.
The pups had a bug and had to go into quarantine so when they were clear, I had very little time to have people in. They will be going shortly to their new homes but I have lots of pics to post before they do.
I'm still trying to get them outside for playtime but as soon as they start to settle down, they have to come back in as it's too cold for them to sleep outside.
By the way, I finally decided on my four names.... Krosby, Kingsley, Kasper and Khloe. I named 3 boys and 1 girl.

K's visit the K's
You might remember these two from our past Loonies for Lindor fundraising crops. Kathryn donated all of her birthday money at the first crop and helped to sponsor and name Chester from the C litter. He is about to be called back into Advanced Training. It will be nice to see him graduate as he is the first dog we sponsored through our fund-raising efforts.
Kathryn and Kate are very mature, seasoned scrappers and a welcome addition to our crops.
The pups are almost 7 weeks old and will be heading to their new homes very soon. I guess I'd better decide on my K names soon!

More Visitors
With all the beautiful weather we've continued to have, the pups are still able to enjoy lots of fresh air and with that comes another set of visitors.
My Number One support helping with the pups is my good friend; Anne Marie. She took 2 weeks vacation from work to help and has spent countless hours helping with every chore from laundry to puppy re-locating.
Her beautiful daughter Emily came over with her friend Boyd to see the pups and help with their socialization.
My two Aunts have also been a big help with everything from dropping off meals to staying at the house and making sure that everything was ok with Mom Lindor and the babies and sister Maya also. Thanks, Aunt Janet and Aunt Donna.

Special visitors
Over the Break, some special visitors came to visit the pups. Chris and Jo run the show at my workplace and they always support all my little bakesale, card and candy fundraisers for Lindor. In fact, they are usually my best customers. Jo brought her lovely daughter Kirsten along as they are big Lab fans having just said goodbye to their beloved yellow Lab Marley. I think everyone enjoyed their "fur" fix.

Still Sunny
They still like to stick together if its a little cool or if they are not feeling too brave.
They were so tired when I brought them in for the night, when I set them down in a row they never budged.
For some reason, one of their favourite ways to sleep is with their heads up in the corner. Ms. Pink enjoys having a snooze after beating up on her siblings.
I hope this nice weather continues. Everyone is enjoying all the fresh air and sunshine.
